Jeff Gillett brings over 30 years of executive search and corporate talent acquisition expertise to his role as Executive Vice President at The Elliot Group. Leading C-level and senior leadership assignments across functional disciplines, including general management, operations, finance, marketing, development, IT, and human resources, Jeff works extensively with founders, emerging brands, franchise businesses, and private equity-sponsored companies in the restaurant and consumer service industries. Jeff’s success in bringing transformational talent to organizations, coupled with his practical corporate experience, has positioned him as a sought-after thought partner and search consultant by both new and existing clients as organizations strategize to build their executive leadership teams.

Before joining The Elliot Group, Jeff led talent acquisition across several departments at Hillstone Restaurant Group for 16 years. During his tenure, Jeff was also responsible for staff development of corporate and field recruitment, Hillstone’s renowned management training program, and enterprise hiring strategies.

A graduate of Michigan State University, Jeff remains active at his alma mater. As an Executive Director on the School of Hospitality Business Executive Alumni Board, Jeff has been honored for his contributions, including his mentorship of students and alumni to whom he has provided career counseling and ongoing professional development. An ardent advocate for careers in the hospitality industry, Jeff leads a restaurant development project for a local high school and serves on the advisory board. He is also a regular guest lecturer at several Hospitality Management programs, including the University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Auburn University, and the University of Mississippi. Jeff and his wife, Kathy, reside in Atlanta and are parents of four adult children. They are active community leaders, particularly passionate about mentoring youth and young adults.
