Catalina Ganis is Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Elliot Executive Source Ltd. and Senior Vice President of Elliot Associates Inc. In addition to executive search in Hospitality and Food Service, she leads the division that conducts search activities for the Manufacturing and Distribution Industries and Franchised Communities. Prior to joining the Company in 1988, she worked in food and beverage management with 5 star hotels and full service chain restaurants and was an Executive Recruiter in a New York City based hospitality executive search firm. Catalina is a Founding Board Member of the Multicultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance (MFHA) and was Chair of the organization serving a three year term. Catalina has served on the Nominating, Strategic Long-Term Planning and Membership Committees and was Co-Chair of the MFHA National Conference in San Diego.
A noted authority in the area of human resources and recruitment in the food industry, she has been quoted in publications including Nation’s Restaurant News, Restaurant Hospitality and The Lieberman Learning Letter. Catalina has presented at her alma mater, Cornell University School of Hotel Administration’s highly respected Dean’s Distinguished Lecture Series. She has been a speaker at: Roundtable for Women in Foodservice New York Chapter Symposium; Women’s Foodservice Forum Regional Connects Panel on Building High Performance Teams; the Immigration Panel at the People Report Conference and the Women of Color Panel at the MFHA Conference. She possesses a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell School of Hotel Administration.
